My name is Sara Sganga, and I am a photographer specializing in luxury weddings and events. Photography is not just my job—it is my greatest passion, a powerful tool to tell authentic stories, capture deep emotions, and preserve unforgettable moments and the great beauty.
Since I was a child, I have been fascinated by light and its ability to transform reality into something extraordinary. This love for imagery led me on a journey of learning and exploration, which resulted in the creation of Sara Sganga Studio, the beating heart of my creative vision.
Throughout my career, I have had the honor of receiving prestigious awards, including the title of “Photographer of the Year in Italy” by This is Reportage and being listed among the “Top 10 Best Wedding Photographers in the World” by ISPWP and Fearless Photographers, andamong Top Global Wedding Photographers Worldwide in the DWP Powerlist. I also work with famous influencers and vip couples. These achievements are not only milestones but also constant motivation to innovate and push my boundaries.
My style is defined by a cinematic and elegant approach. I love working with natural light to create images that exude refinement and poetry while maintaining a touch of authenticity. For me, every wedding is a unique story to be told with care, emotion, and attention to detail.
I have fallen deeply in love with editorial and fashion photography, which I incorporate into my wedding work, creating a timeless editorial style. My brides feel like true divas with me! I am actively involved in various editorial projects and have been featured in leading magazines such as Vogue and Elle. I also had the honor of shooting the cover for Sposi Magazine 2025 and 2026, a prestigious national magazine. I am truly grateful!
Beyond my fieldwork, I am dedicated to mentoring new talents and refining the skills of professionals through my workshops and courses, both in Italy and around the world. Sharing my experience and inspiring other photographers is one of the most rewarding aspects of my professional journey.
I work with my team and my husband, and when we are not behind the lens, we love traveling and finding inspiration in the colors, faces, and landscapes we encounter along the way.
