What EDGE is
A book that behaves like a design object.
Closed, EDGE reads as a solid printed block — a sculptural presence on a table or a shelf. Open, it becomes a flush-mount photographic book with thick, panoramic pages. One object, two lives.
EDGE is a layflat photographic book with an Acrylic or ChromaLuxe cover, thick panoramic pages and customizable printed page-block edges.
Made in Italy by Graphistudio for professional photographers, artists and creative studios.

Closed
It sits in the room, not in a drawer.
There is no visible spine and no wrong side. Every face carries the image, so EDGE can be placed anywhere and photographed from any angle — on a console, a coffee table, a studio display.
That is the whole idea: photography your clients live beside, every day.

Open
Thick pages. Panoramic spreads. No gutter.
Inside, EDGE is a true flush-mount book. Pages lie perfectly flat, so a single image can run edge to edge across the full spread without breaking in the middle.
From 20 to 100 pages, on Photographic Lustre or Metal paper.
The detail that defines it
The paper edges are printed too.
On a conventional book the edge of the paper stack is blank. On EDGE it is a printed surface: an image that wraps around, a graphic pattern, a solid colour, or a name. It is the first thing people notice, and the reason EDGE cannot be mistaken for anything else.
Edge printing
A title running along the paper block itself.
Edge personalisation
Three ways to use the edge.
The printed edge is a design decision, not a finish option. Choose the approach that matches the story and the interior it is going into.

MODE 01
Continue the image
The cover photograph continues around the block, so the picture never stops at the edge. Strongest for landscape, travel and fine-art work.

MODE 02
Choose a colour
A pattern, texture or single colour drawn from the cover palette — quiet, architectural, and the easiest to place in a decorated room.

MODE 03
Add typography
A name, a date, a title, printed along the paper block and read from the side — exactly how it will be seen on a shelf.

Anatomy
Cover, pages, edges — read as one object.

01 — COVER
Acrylic glass or Chromaluxe metal
A rigid front panel in Acrylic Glass or Metal Chromaluxe, glossy or matte. It gives the object depth, weight, and a reflective surface that changes with the light in the room.

02 — PAGES
Thick flush-mount pages
Rigid, lay-flat pages built for panoramic spreads. From 20 to 100 pages, printed with silver-halide photographic technology on Lustre or Metal paper.

Covers & paper
Acrylic depth, or the crispness of metal.
Acrylic Glass sets the image beneath a clear panel, giving depth and a saturated, gallery surface.
ChromaLuxe Metal holds crisp detail with the character of metal — suited to graphic and monochrome work.
Each is available glossy or matte, and pairs with Photographic Lustre or Metal paper inside.
In the hand
It explains itself the moment it is picked up.
Clients rarely need the product explained. They feel the weight, open it flat, and the conversation moves from price to placement — where in the house it will go.
That shift is the commercial point of EDGE.

The same object, two ways
On the table, or in the room.
Every EDGE is photographed the same way against a clean background so you can compare covers, finishes and proportions. Hover any one of them to see the same book placed in a real interior.

Complete the presentation.
The EDGE Box turns delivery into a moment. It protects the piece in transit, elevates the reveal in the studio, and gives you a natural premium upgrade to attach to any collection.

The EDGE Box — priced separately from the product
Parent copies
One story. Every family that wants it.
Every EDGE can be reproduced as a smaller parent copy — the same cover, the same printed edges, the same pages, at a reduced scale. It is the simplest upsell in the collection: the design work is already done, and the second and third copies almost sell themselves at the reveal.

Why it works
The decision has already been made.
By the time parents see the finished book, the hard part is over — the images are chosen, the layout is approved, the object is real and in their hands.
Asking whether they would like their own copy is a much easier conversation than selling an album from scratch.
Fixed, all-inclusive pricing
One EDGE. One clear price.
Two size groups, one fixed price inside each. Choose an included format, build from 20 to 100 pages, select the included paper and cover — with no progressive page surcharges and no new calculation at every step.
More creative freedom for the maker. Predictable costs for the studio. A clearer presentation for the client.

Built for business
It changes what the conversation is about.
A traditional album is discussed as a cost. EDGE is discussed as an object for the home — which is a different negotiation, with a different anchor.
Use it as the hero of a tiered collection, as a premium upgrade on an existing package, or as the luxury alternative when a client hesitates on an album.
The film
Pure form. Pure story.
Ninety seconds inside the making and the presentation of EDGE — the covers, the printed edges, the boxes, and the moment a finished piece is handed over.
Experience the object

EDGE is easiest to understand when it is seen from every angle and held in the hand. Build a studio sample from your own work, put it on the consultation table, and let the object begin the conversation.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What makes EDGE different from a premium photo book or luxury album?
EDGE is not a book that opens and disappears. It is a photographic object — printed on the cover, the back and the paper edges — designed to be displayed rather than shelved.
How does EDGE help me charge more for my photography?
It moves the conversation from album cost to home value. When a client sees a finished object on your studio display, they start valuing what only you can produce.
Can EDGE fit into my existing pricing structure?
Yes. EDGE works as the hero product in a tiered collection, as a luxury alternative to a traditional wedding album, or as an elevated upsell alongside a gallery delivery.
Does EDGE integrate with my current design software?
Yes. EDGE is compatible with Fundy, SmartAlbums and Graphistudio Layout Designer. The EDGE 3D Designer also lets you build a full-wrap concept and preview it in 3D before presenting it.
What can be printed on the edges?
A continuation of the cover image, a graphic or pattern, a solid colour drawn from the cover palette, or lettering such as a name, date or title.
How long does production take?
Five to seven business days per product. EDGE is a registered design, manufactured exclusively by Graphistudio.
Is EDGE only for wedding photography?
No. EDGE works for weddings, portraits, families, engagements, newborns, maternity, seniors, fine art, fashion and commercial work.
What is the EDGE Box?
A premium presentation box created to complete the EDGE experience. It protects the product, elevates the reveal, and gives you a stronger delivery moment. It is priced separately.
Why print at all, when everything is in the cloud?
Hard drives fail, subscriptions lapse, platforms change. A printed photographic object has no software requirement and no password. It simply exists, ready to be seen and passed on.
