Models + Hair & Make-up organised for you
To keep things simple and stress-free, models are arranged for the workshop, along with professional hair and make-up, so you can focus purely on creating your best work.
You’ll take home a finished hardback book
You’ll work on two hero images from Tuesday’s shoot and prepare them on Tuesday evening. Those files are sent for printing first thing Wednesday morning, so your hardback book is produced in time for collection on Thursday.
Graphi Studio factory tour + book collection
Thursday includes a behind-the-scenes tour and the moment everyone loves — collecting your finished workshop book(s). It’s a brilliant way to understand premium album production, quality, and what it takes to sell luxury printed products.

You don’t need to be “advanced”, but you should be confident using your camera in manual or semi-manual modes.

Spaces are strictly limited due to hotel capacity and the quality of the experience. With only 12 delegates, there’s plenty of time for hands-on guidance, creative feedback, and genuine portfolio improvement.

If you’re feeling ready, go ahead and book.
Secure your place for £895 (first 5 delegates only). From the end of June, the workshop price will increase to £1,095. If you’d like to lock in the current rate, you can either pay in full or secure your place with a deposit before the price increase. Places are strictly limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Where is the workshop held?
The workshop is based at Castello Ceconi, Italy. Delegates stay at a nearby hotel in Anduins, close to the castle.
Which airport should I fly from?
Most delegates will fly into Venice Marco Polo Airport. Flights from London Gatwick currently offer the best availability and pricing for the workshop dates. Some airlines do not appear to operate flights from Bristol on the Monday travel day.
Which airport do we fly into?
You’ll fly into Venice Marco Polo Airport. Group transfers are arranged on Monday (11:00 am–12:00 midday) and returning on Thursday (mid/late afternoon).
What time should I arrive in Venice?
Aim to land in time for the 11:00 am–12:00 midday collection window on Monday. Once booked, we’ll send a simple travel guide with recommended flight timings.
Is accommodation included?
Accommodation is not included. Delegates stay at the nearby hotel (capacity 12). You’ll receive booking details after reserving your place.
Where will delegates stay?
Delegates will stay at a local hotel close to Castello Ceconi in the nearby village. The hotel is approximately €85 per person per night, including breakfast. Accommodation is not included in the workshop price and must be booked separately.

Do I need to contact the hotel to book a room?
No. Graphi Studio has already secured the rooms for the workshop group, so you do not need to contact the hotel directly. You will pay for the hotel room when you get to the hotel so no need to worry about it for now. Full details about the hotel booking process and payment will be sent to you after securing your workshop place.
What luggage should I bring?
We recommend bringing camera equipment and essential gear in your cabin bag. Checked luggage can be used for clothing and additional equipment if required.
Are flights included in the workshop price?
Flights are not included in the workshop price. Delegates are responsible for arranging their own flights to Venice Marco Polo Airport. We recommend arriving in Venice before the group transfer on Monday, 14th September.
What time is the airport collection?
Airport collection will take place around 11:00 am – 12:00 midday on Monday, 14th September at Venice Marco Polo Airport. Return transfers will be arranged on Thursday afternoon for flights departing later that day.
What airport transfer is provided?
Group transport will be arranged from Venice Marco Polo Airport to Castello Ceconi and back at the end of the workshop. Transport will be provided via a comfortable 30-seater coach, which allows plenty of space for luggage and equipment. This is more comfortable than smaller people carriers often used for workshops.
Can I share a room with another photographer?
Yes, many delegates choose to share a room with another attendee to reduce costs. Once places are confirmed, we can help connect photographers who wish to share accommodation.
Are meals included?
Lunch is included each day. Evening meals are not included. We’re also aiming to arrange one group dinner at the castle if possible.
Will there be models?
Yes — models are arranged for the workshop, and they may stay at Castello Ceconi.
Will hair and make-up be provided?
Yes — hair and make-up can be arranged for the workshop models.
What should I bring?
A camera body (or two if you have them), lenses you’re comfortable with (a 35mm/50mm and 85mm are great), spare batteries, chargers, and a laptop for the evening image session if possible.
How does the hardback book work?
You’ll choose two images from Tuesday’s shoot and work on them Tuesday evening. These are sent to production first thing Wednesday morning, so you can collect your hardback book on Thursday during the factory visit.
Can I stay an extra day in Venice?
Yes — many delegates fly back Thursday and enjoy an extra day or two in Venice (self-arranged). We’ll share handy tips once you’re booked.
Do I need to hire a car in Italy?
No. All local transport and airport transfers are arranged for the group, so there is no need to hire a car.
