Company History
A factory of emotion
Graphistudio was founded in 1981 as a small graphic and photographic advertising studio. In 1987, as a result of the enlargement and diversification of the company, it expanded into the wedding photography market. The idea was to offer newly weds a photographic album using the latest creative graphic techniques. The concept was an immediate success as it was to the traditional wedding photography environment. Soon the Adamo Creazioni brand service became known throughout the Venetian region and became the preferred choice of thousands of newly weds. To cope with this demand and to achieve more ambitious growth targets for larger markets, a new digital production solution called informatics was used.
The Digital Age Begins
In 1991 the first digital graphic computer installed and a revolution that radically transformed both the company and its operations began. The new digital culture gradually spread throughout the different divisions of the company. The workforce became younger and women especially became very adept in learning the new digital process and assimilating the new modern concept of the Company organisation. The new technology enabled great strides in quality and competitiveness to be achieved.
From the newlyweds to the photographers and Graphistudio
As the Company expanded in Italy, it concentrated on professional photographers by providing them with an innovative service to produce unique wedding albums that were at the forefront of creative and artistic content. Using a targeted marketing operation, the Company was able to persuade hundreds of photographic laboratories to also take up the idea. By 1996 the Graphistudio Wedding Album enjoyed unprecedented success in just nine years of development. It achieved this by investing in the treatment and print technology of images in order to guarantee an editorial quality level. However, the company also needed to develop a new system of bookbinding that would be equally distinguished and ahead of all the other products in the market.
The creation of the Wedding Book
The first Wedding Book was launched to the public in the spring of 1997. Wedding magazines described it as the best wedding momento that has ever been produced. Photographic publications referred to it as a revolution in this sector which also sets a new quality standard. The fame of the Wedding Book soon spread internationally and it was not long before Graphistudio received requests from other European countries as well as USA, Australia and Japan. The novel idea had a growing impact at the world wide level but it also needed to be protected through international patents. The Wedding Book was presented at international fairs including New York, Atlanta, Tokyo, Barcelona, Athens, Rome and Vienna. Photographers everywhere were impressed by the Graphistudio Wedding Book. In achieving this goal Graphistudio had been repaid for the first ten years of their product.
Staff
One of the essential strengths of Graphistudio is the quality and dedication of their staff of over 200, the majority of whom are female and have an average age of 28. Crucially some of our staff have been with us from the very beginning of the company idea. In turn they have combined with new experts to create a harmonious work environment which maintains maximum flexibility and an ability to contribute to the 33 production phases with complete responsibility. At the same time our staff are able to learn quickly and leap on the forefront of latest products of the new digital technology.
